how does it work?
FLOWpresso is a combination
of four therapies...
Comprised of individual chambers that provide compression in order to release stagnated fluid (toxins) from the tissues
Provides a sensation similar to Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT). This allows the body to drop into parasympathetic mode, the 'setting' where the body relaxes, restores, and rejuvenates.
Far infrared heat is offered and optional, with each chamber having its own temperature setting. Far infrared heat is a non-invasive health promoting therapy shown to modulate sleep and enhance blood
PEMF technology emits electromagnetic waves (similar to those found in nature) in different frequencies in order to stimulate and encourage the bodies natural recovery process
A FLOWpresso session lasts between 35 and 45 minutes but we recommend allowing a full hour to account for the time it takes to get in and out of the suit, as well as adjust pressure and temperature settings to each individual.
Side effects are very similar to a massage or Lymphatic Therapy for e.g increased urination, bowel motion and headache. We suggest drinking at least 1-2 glasses of water prior to each session to get the full effects as well as
1-2 glasses post therapy as the body will be in detoxification mode and may get dehydrated.
Heart disease especially if increased blood flow is detrimental eg congestive heart failure or high BP
Acute infection of the affected limb eg cellulitis
Deep Vein Thrombosis, DVT
Electronic medical implants
